Cold Weather Safety Reminders

Please keep these tips in mind during extreme winter weather:

  • Never use your oven for heat

  • Never bring charcoal or gas grills indoors (carbon monoxide hazard)

  • Unplug portable heaters when not in use

  • Keep space heaters away from curtains and turn them off before bed

  • Keep heat at safe levels or let faucets drip slightly to prevent frozen pipes

  • Keep moving—your body generates heat through activity

Please share this post so neighbors, seniors, and families across our district know where to go to stay safe and warm. 💙

Thank you for your support, your trust, and your belief in what we can build together.

Let’s keep going—because together, we’re stronger.

With gratitude,
