Cold Weather Safety Reminders
Please keep these tips in mind during extreme winter weather:
Never use your oven for heat
Never bring charcoal or gas grills indoors (carbon monoxide hazard)
Unplug portable heaters when not in use
Keep space heaters away from curtains and turn them off before bed
Keep heat at safe levels or let faucets drip slightly to prevent frozen pipes
Keep moving—your body generates heat through activity
Please share this post so neighbors, seniors, and families across our district know where to go to stay safe and warm. 💙
Thank you for your support, your trust, and your belief in what we can build together.
Let’s keep going—because together, we’re stronger.
With gratitude,
Carina Santa Maria
