I’m proud and deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Illinois Nurses Association for State Senate in the 27th District.
Nurses are on the front lines of our healthcare system every single day. They see firsthand where our systems work—and where they fail. Their advocacy isn’t abstract; it’s rooted in lived experience, patient care, and a deep commitment to human dignity.
The Illinois Nurses Association’s endorsement reflects our shared values: protecting workers’ rights, expanding access to quality healthcare, defending reproductive freedom, and standing up for policies that put people over profit. It means so much to earn the support of professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for others and who understand the urgency of strong, compassionate leadership in Springfield.
As State Senator, I will continue fighting for safe staffing levels, accessible and affordable healthcare, strong labor protections, and policies that respect both patients and the professionals who care for them. I’m grateful for the trust of the Illinois Nurses Association and proud to stand with them as we work to build a healthier, more equitable Illinois.
