Standing with the Workers Who Keep Illinois Moving

I’m honored to share that Ironworkers Local 63 has endorsed my campaign for Illinois State Senate District 27, representing skilled tradespeople who help build—and rebuild—the backbone of our communities every day.

Ironworkers know what it means to do hard, essential work under real conditions. Their members show up early, work safely, look out for one another, and take pride in building projects that last. Their endorsement reflects a shared commitment to good-paying union jobs, safe workplaces, strong labor protections, and an economy that works for working families—not just those at the top.

As a social worker, nonprofit leader, and Village Trustee, I’ve always believed that strong communities are built by people who are valued, protected, and paid fairly for their work. In the State Senate, I will continue to fight for policies that uplift organized labor, invest in workforce development, and ensure workers have a seat at the table when decisions are made.

I’m grateful for the trust and support of Ironworkers Local 63, and I’m proud to stand with them in the fight for dignity, opportunity, and fairness for all working families across Illinois.
