Officially Endorsed by the Arlington Heights Firefighters Association Local 3105

I am honored to be endorsed by the Arlington Heights Firefighters Association Local 3105, representing the firefighters and paramedics who serve our community with courage, skill, and unwavering commitment.

As they shared in their endorsement, they have seen my work firsthand—both as a Village Trustee and as a consistent advocate for public safety professionals across Illinois:

“Carina has been a strong and consistent supporter of firefighters and paramedics throughout the State of Illinois. She understands the nature of our work and the responsibilities our members carry every day on behalf of their communities.”

Serving alongside our fire service has reinforced what I believe deeply: leadership means listening, learning, and showing up with intention. I’m grateful that IAFF Local 3105 recognized that approach in their words:

“She has proven to be a thoughtful listener, a patient advocate, and a champion for public safety professionals.”

I’ve had the privilege of working closely with our firefighters through my role on the Arlington Heights Village Board, and I’ve made it a priority to understand how policy decisions directly impact their work and safety. That commitment included participating fully in Fire Ops Day—training, learning, and experiencing firsthand the physical and technical demands firefighters and paramedics face every day.

“Her participation reflected not only interest, but real commitment to understanding the profession she seeks to support.”

I am proud to stand with the men and women of IAFF Local 3105. We share core values—service, advocacy, and protecting every member of our community—and I will continue fighting for policies that support public safety professionals and keep our communities safe.
